My holy grail skincare products of 2024

I’ve discovered some absolute keepers in the skincare and beauty world this year. I attribute it mostly to the endless hours I spent on YouTube, but what else is one supposed to procrastinate with when there’s laundry to be done? There’s a common theme associated with this year’s list – hydration. When I got home after backpacking around Europe for 3 months, my collection grew spectacularly. That’s what happens when you’re confined to 100ml in a carry on bag for so long. Naturally, now I want to share what I’ve found. So here they are – my holy grail skincare products of 2024.

Mediheal – Watermide Moisture Pad

I love toner pads – they’re so simple, but so effective. The Watermide Moisture Pads by Mediheal are formulated with Icelandic glacial water and botanical extracts to cool and calm the skin. I use them in the morning and evening after cleansing, and they keep my skin perfectly hydrated. But, if you want something extra, you can place 3 – 4 pads on your forehead, cheeks, and chin for around 15 minutes as a treatment mask. Afterwards, you will notice such a huge difference in the texture and complexion of your skin. Yay for DIY masks!

Dr. Ceuracle – Vegan Kombucha Tea Gel Cream

I swear, on every favourites post I make, I always include a new gel moisturiser. What can I say? They seem to keep getting better and better. Either that or I am just obsessed with every single one. This gel cream by Dr. Ceuracle is a new level of lightweight. It immediately sinks into the skin and leaves you feeling forever hydrated. The star ingredient is kombucha tea. This fermented black tea contains probiotics and vitamin B to balance oil production and create a radiant complexion. It’s perfectly refreshing for the summer months, especially when you don’t want to look too dewy. And the smell! Just like eucalyptus trees.

I’m From – Honey Mask

I’ve spoken about this honey mask by I’m From so many times – and for good reason! This is my absolute go-to for baby soft, supple skin. I try and leave it on for the maximum time that is recommended, which is an hour. It contains 38.7% pure honey, bee venom, and propolis extract. These ingredients are the reason that this mask is so transformative – they nourish, hydrate, and provide antimicrobial and wound healing properties. Use it once or twice a week for the best skin of your life. Thank me later.

Naked Sundays – Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops

Loving Mecca’s To Save Face SPF50+ Superscreen but wanting to get away from using a chemical sunscreen, I was looking for a perfect makeup base that was mineral, but also left my skin with a glow. If you’ve ever tried mineral sunscreens, you’ll know that this is hard to find. Almost all of them leave you feeling dry (and that’s coming from a girl with oily skin). That’s where the Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops by Naked Sundays comes in. This is such a beautiful, dewy physical sunscreen that is perfect under makeup. It’s glowy, but not oily. Not only is it broad spectrum SPF50, it also contains beneficial ingredients like pink algae and a hyaluronic acid derivative. I use the shade Sheer Tint (and mix in Bronze for non-makeup days – this combination is a game-changer!).

There you have it – my holy grail skincare products of 2024. Trust me when I say that they’re well worth having in your skincare routine.

Yours,

Kait x
