Since starting my corporate job in July, I’ve been thinking a lot more about makeup. I enjoy taking a slow twenty minutes in the morning to mindfully apply my skincare and beauty products. To make myself look more beautiful. I relish the way blush makes my cheeks look young and full of life, and the way gloss makes my lips look more kissable. Two products that I’ll share with you are new favourites, with the other being a staple of mine that I have not wavered from since I’ve bought it. If you love finding out other people’s favourite beauty products as much as I do, here are 3 that I simply can’t quit.

RMS Beauty – Lip2Cheek

Going to Mecca to try on new products has unashamedly become a new ritual of mine. When it was time for me to find a blush, I was recommended the Lip2Cheek by RMS. I took home samples (on two separate occasions) of both the Beloved (true red) and Modest (rich berry pink) shades. And while they’re both beautiful, the brighter red of Beloved suits my skin tone and colour preference much better. It blends out so well, is buildable, and lasts forever. It’s hard to find a blush that lasts all day. And this one does.

Mecca Max – Gloss Boss Lip Gloss

Despite wanting to again bring up my absolute favourite lip tint – the Silk Slip Conditioning Tinted Lip Oil by Versed – I’ll refrain. The Mecca Max Gloss Boss Lip Gloss is just as magical. I’ve always wanted that super soft and subtle pigmented gloss look that most Korean girls wear. I have found that look with this product. I picked up this gloss in the shade Berry Good, which is a light coral pink, but there are 16 shades to choose from. It’s a non-sticky and hydrating formulation that I just love.

Kosas – Air Brow Fluff & Hold Treatment Gel

I’ve always moved around with brow products, never really settling on one I loved. I used to fill them in with an eyebrow palette, but once I discovered gels, I never looked back. The first one I tried was the Collagen Infused Brow Gel by Akiila. I liked it, but it’s not as long lasting as the one I now use by Kosas. I use both the Air Brow Fluff & Hold Treatment (in Medium Brown) and their Air Brow Clear Lifting Treatment Gel. When I apply the clear gel first, I find the tinted treatment holds all day. I have received so many compliments for my eyebrows when wearing this (surprisingly, most being from men). They give the perfect combination of the laminated and fluffy brow look.
